The squeegee angle is the angle between the surfaces on the squeegee and the stencil that are contacted by the solder paste. The squeegee angle is formed from the squeegee force and the spring constant of the squeegee blade. By changing the squeegee angle, the force with which the solder paste is pressed into the stencil openings changes. A steel squeegee is the usual squeegee shape for stencil printing. The angle here is between 62 ... 65°.

When the squeegee blade is subjected to the squeegee force, an angle of approx. 45° to the stencil surface is achieved.
