Ersa is expanding its tried-and-tested i-TIP 0142 soldering tip series with five new performance variants. The new tips have been specially developed for users who demand the highest standards of heat transfer and efficiency. The performance soldering tips retain the tried-and-tested geometry of the contact surface, but feature a significantly larger heat reservoir. The result: measurably faster heat transfer directly at the solder joint. Users who work on high-mass solder joints or operate without preheating the assembly will benefit particularly.
Easy transition, full compatibility
As the basic tip shape of the Performance tips remains identical at the contact surface, identifying the correct item is very straightforward: simply add a ‘P’ to the existing order number – for example, 0142CDLF50 becomes 0142CDLF50P.
The new tips are compatible with all i-CON soldering stations; we particularly recommend the i-CON TRACE industrial soldering stations, the i-CON VARIO MK2 series, and the models in the i-CON 1 and i-CON 2 families, all in the MK2 version. Naturally, the P-tips are also equipped with the popular Tip’n’Turn function for quick, tool-free tip changes.
