Changes in the Kurtz Ersa Advisory Board
The shareholders of Kurtz Ersa established an advisory board in 2003. This management control committee was initially headed by Dr. Lorenz Raith. Hans-Jürgen Thaus has been Chairman of the Kurtz Ersa Advisory Board since January 01, 2009. Mr. Thaus took over this office in difficult times and has since then made a very committed contribution to the success of Kurtz Ersa over the past ten years. The management and the shareholders as well as the advisory board colleagues have learned to appreciate Mr. Thaus as a highly competent, always fair and balanced team player, consultant and person of respect. On 31.12.2018 Mr. Thaus´s term of office ended and he was honoured with great applause at the last shareholders´ meeting. The shareholders and management wish him much joy in his well-deserved retirement and, on behalf of all employees, thank him once again for his untiring commitment. Dr. Dietmar Straub will assume the office of Chairman of the Advisory Board as of 01.01.2019. The proven members of the Advisory Board Bernhard Kurtz, Walter Kurtz and Alfred Weber will remain with the Advisory Board. Mr. Frank P. Averdung will be added as of 01.01.2019. He brings with him many years of industrial experience in the fields of optics, electronics and semiconductor development. The management is looking forward to the cooperation with the new advisory board.
