On September 25, the Kurtz Ersa Group honored 98 employees at Bronnbach Monastery for their long-standing loyalty to the company. Together, the jubilarians brought an impressive 2,025 years of service to the stage - a strong sign of continuity and a corporate culture that extends far beyond the Main-Spessart region. For the fifth time, the celebration took place in the festively decorated Bernhardsaal hall at Bronnbach Abbey. In addition to the jubilarians, members of the Advisory Board, represented by Advisory Board Chairman Rainer Kurtz, the shareholder family, and numerous executives attended, as did representatives of the works council. CEO Thomas Mühleck, himself with the company for over 30 years, gave a speech recounting the eventful history of the past decades.
“We have learned to be consistent when something doesn´t work and to tap into new markets such as the semiconductor industry. The fact that we are able to overcome crises and emerge from them stronger than ever is thanks above all to our long-standing employees,” emphasized Thomas Mühleck. “Your knowledge, loyalty, and trust are the foundation of our company´s history to date and our future success.”

The anniversaries ranged from ten years of service to an impressive 45 years - an entire working life! Herbert Lannig, long-time head of spare parts at Kurtz GmbH & Co. KG, began on September 1, 1980, with an apprenticeship as a technical draftsman, then moved on to design and assistant manager of the service department before taking over as Head of Spare Parts Management. Since then, he has ensured that the global flow of parts for particle foam and foundry machines never dries up. Joachim Zander was also honored for 45 years of service. He started on August 25, 1980, in the aluminum foundry and worked in the iron foundry, MBW metalworking, and Kurtz and Ersa logistics. Wherever he was assigned, the always cheerful Zander completed his work with energy and commitment. Thomas Mühleck emphasized that many of those honored had accompanied and significantly shaped crucial phases of the company´s development: “It is you who show young colleagues how to deal with special situations and what mutual trust means.”
The culinary dinner and many personal encounters rounded off a festive evening that celebrated not only the loyalty of the employees but also the team strength that makes the machine manufacturer Kurtz Ersa a globally successful and at the same time regionally rooted company.
