Ersa, the world´s leading supplier of soldering tools and systems, is expanding its proven i-TIP 0142 soldering tip series with five new performance variants. The new P-tips were developed specifically for users who demand the highest standards of heat transfer and efficiency.
The principle: More mass, more power
The performance soldering tips continue to rely on the proven geometry of the contact surface, but feature a significantly larger heat reservoir. The result: measurably faster heat transfer directly at the solder joint. In test series, performance gains of more than 30% were achieved compared to standard tips. Users who work on high-mass solder joints or solder without preheating the assembly benefit particularly.
Easy transition, full compatibility
Since the basic tip shape of the performance tips remains identical at the contact surface, assigning the correct part number is extremely simple: Simply add a “P” to the existing part number – for example, 0142DLF50 becomes 0142CDLF50P. The new tips are compatible with all i-CON soldering stations; we particularly recommend the i-CON TRACE industrial soldering stations, the i-CON VARIO MK2 series, and the models in the i-CON 1 and i-CON 2 families, all in the MK2 version. Of course, the P-tips are also equipped with the popular Tip´n´Turn function for quick, tool-free tip replacement.
