The i-TIP CLEANER removes solder, flux, and oxide residues in less than a second - quickly and gently. This ensures consistently high soldering quality, increased process reliability, longer service life for soldering and desoldering tips, and thereby increases productivity.
Automatic brush start
As soon as a metal soldering tip is inserted into the cleaning area, the induction sensor automatically starts the brushes. A green status LED indicates that the device is ready for operation in sensor mode; during quiet cleaning, the LED changes to white and provides optimal illumination of the work area. Alternatively, a continuous mode is available in which the brushes rotate continuously.
Easy removal of solder residue
For quick brush replacement or the removal of solder residue, the cleaner features a sealed collection drawer for solder waste. It can be easily unlocked and pulled out from the rear, allowing solder residue to be removed quickly and easily. Afterward, the brushes are reinserted and the drawer is closed. The cleaning brushes, which have a diameter of 42 mm, are available in brass or heat-resistant plastic; the optimal rotational speeds for them can be adjusted. Thanks to its integrated M8 circular connector, the i-TIP CLEANER can be easily integrated into automated manufacturing environments, making it suitable for use in soldering robots as well.
