With the new POWERFLOW generation, Ersa presents two machines that cover different requirements but have one thing in common: they both belong to the excellence class of wave soldering, offering maximum process reliability and efficiency – whether as a compact entry-level model or at the top of the segment in the ultra-high-end range.
The POWERFLOW FIVE sets new standards in high-end wave soldering in terms of performance, energy efficiency, and total cost of ownership (TCO). Developed for demanding applications such as power electronics, e-mobility, 5G, or smart grids, it impresses with adaptive production processes and maximum flexibility. The dynamic z-axis and programmable nozzle height adjustment allow for perfect sequential soldering - ideal for mixed assemblies with classic components and high-performance components. Automatic wave height control and SMART ELEMENTS® process gas purification ensure reproducible quality with minimal scrap. The hybrid heating system combines medium-wave radiation and convection for up to 50% more efficient heat transfer, and the SMART IR RADIATION heater also ensures optimized energy efficiency and component-friendly preheating. For particularly heavy or complex boards, the POWERFLOW FIVE offers a heavy-duty transport system for assemblies weighing up to 12 or up to 25 kg.
With the POWERFLOW ONE, Ersa brings professional wave soldering to a footprint of 2.90 m - with a machine concept that clearly focuses on the essentials. It is the ideal entry-level solution for EMS service providers, prototype production, and small to medium series - with an attractive price-performance ratio and proven POWERFLOW core components from the larger systems. Designed for stand-alone operation with a solder frame, the wave soldering machine ensures maximum reliability and reduces downtime to an absolute minimum - a decisive advantage for small and medium-sized production environments. Optional extensions enable upgrades to inline operation. The POWERFLOW ONE is the first Ersa machine based on the new KE.ON modular software platform, whose web-based front end provides the basis for flexible expandability.
