On September 1, 2025, the Kurtz Ersa Group took over the business operations of plant manufacturer ATV Technologie GmbH, based in Vaterstetten near Munich. The company will operate under the name Kurtz Ersa Semicon GmbH in future. Kurtz Ersa is thus implementing its strategic move into the market for production equipment for the semiconductor industry and expanding its portfolio to include a highly specialized area of technology.
High-quality vacuum soldering systems
The new Kurtz Ersa Semicon specializes in the development and sale of high-quality vacuum soldering systems that impress with their precise temperature control and excellent homogeneity – crucial for the requirements of semiconductor and microelectronics manufacturing. The interdisciplinary Semicon team offers tailor-made solutions for universities, research institutes, laboratories, and production companies.
The SRO i-LINE is a series production system that offers significant advantages for applications in electromobility, renewable energies, and defense thanks to its innovative infrared heating principle. The new management team at Kurtz Ersa Semicon GmbH consists of Dr. Veit Große as CEO and Dr. Michael Fischer, CEO of Ersa GmbH and now also CEO of Kurtz Ersa Semicon GmbH.H.
Technological expertise in a global network
“The expertise of the former ATV is the perfect entry point into the semiconductor industry, which we have had on our roadmap for some time,” emphasizes Kurtz Ersa CEO Thomas Mühleck. Ersa CEO Dr. Michael Fischer adds: “The technological expertise offers us the opportunity to generate strong growth with our global network.” The new company made its first appearance with exhibits in November at Productronica - in future, the company will also be represented at national and international trade fairs in Asia and America.
